An Intersection of Heritage and Artistry

Rooted in the landscapes of Northern Wisconsin and Chicago, Haus of Edelweiss is a mother-daughter creative atelier born from a shared lineage of craft. Our story is anchored in our German roots and a lifelong refusal to settle for the standard. We have always been a family of artists, DIYers by nature and perfectionists by choice, who believe that your most significant moments deserve more than a template.

The dream of opening this Haus together lived in our hearts for years, but it was the seamless teamwork of planning Katie’s own wedding that brought it to life. Amidst the joy, we kept hearing the same thing: “Planning a wedding is so stressful.” We looked at each other and realized our experience was the opposite. For us, the magic is in the making. We decided then and there to take that weight off your shoulders, transforming logistics into a curated art form.

Our Philosophy: Hand-Crafted, Never Automated

We are not a high-volume agency. We intentionally accept only a small handful of weddings and events each year. This ensures that your celebration receives our full, undivided attention and every detail is at your mercy.

Tactile Artistry: From our real vintage letterpress machinery to our stained glass, we work exclusively with high-quality, natural materials.

Pure Customization: Nothing we do is automated. Every suite of stationery and every event atmosphere is built from scratch to reflect your specific pulse.

A Personal Partnership: We aren’t a distant service, we are a phone call away. We stand alongside you to ensure your day is as elevated as it is effortless.

Your stationery and your celebrations should be a reflection of your own unique aesthetic. We can’t wait to pair with you and learn the story you want to tell.

With love,

Cherie Diem & Katie Kobussen
